Site Reliability Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Site Reliability Engineers, the full-time remote Site Reliability Engineering Manager will ensure the availability, performance, and operational excellence of production systems while contributing as a hands-on technical leader through coding and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the SRE team to maintain the reliability and health of production systems
• Define and drive Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets in collaboration with engineering and product teams
• Champion continuous improvement in monitoring, observability, and incident response practices

Required qualifications

• Proven experience leading SRE or reliability-focused engineering teams in a production software environment
• Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLOs, SLIs, and blameless postmortems
• Hands-on background in incident response and production troubleshooting
• Experience applying AI and automation to reliability work
• Solid grasp of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
