Skilled Nursing Facility Revenue Cycle Manager

Job Summary

Managing a remote team of approximately 25 employees, the full-time Skilled Nursing Facility Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee daily billing operations, troubleshoot complex claims, and provide expert guidance on reimbursement processes for a multi-state portfolio of Skilled Nursing Facilities and Senior Living Medicaid Waiver communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Central Billing Office team, ensuring billing accuracy and timely resolution of issues
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on Skilled Nursing Facility claims, independently reviewing and resolving complex billing and reimbursement challenges
• Analyze revenue trends and communicate significant billing and cash issues to senior leadership, ensuring accountability and effective resolution strategies

Required qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Skilled Nursing Facility claims and reimbursement processes
• Extensive hands-on experience with SNF billing and complex claim resolution
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing requirements
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing centralized or remote Revenue Cycle operations
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends affecting revenue and cash flow
