Job Summary
To support the scaling of autonomous delivery robots, the full-time SLAM Engineer will architect and deploy production-grade SLAM systems for large-scale HD maps, focusing on robust localization capabilities in dynamic urban environments, while collaborating cross-functionally with various teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and deploy production-grade SLAM systems for large-scale HD maps
- Design and implement robust 3D registration pipelines for noisy and large environments
- Develop state estimation systems for localization that address real-world challenges
Required qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field
- 4+ years of industry experience in AV, Robotics, embedded systems, or equivalent
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages
- Deep expertise in 3D geometry, spatial reasoning, and LiDAR/vision-based 3D registration
- Experience with large-scale non-linear optimization and state estimation techniques
