Job Summary
Responsible for managing documentation and compliance initiatives, the full-time remote SLED Security Analyst will oversee security authorizations and certifications, ensuring adherence to NIST-based frameworks and supporting SLED customers through governance and risk management activities.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the development and maintenance of security architecture, policies, and compliance documentation
- Supports security authorization initiatives aligned to NIST SP 800-53 Moderate and related regulatory frameworks
- Assembles and maintains System Security Plans (SSP) and authorization package artifacts
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in information security governance, risk, compliance, or audit programs
- One or more security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53 Moderate, FedRAMP, and related compliance programs
- Intermediate to advanced technical writing skills for compliance documentation
