Sleep Medicine Physician (State Licensed)
Job Summary
To support the Veteran community, a full-time Sleep Medicine Physician (State Licensed) will manage comprehensive sleep disorders and perform direct patient care remotely while adhering to a schedule of Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with occasional weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive sleep disorders and related medical conditions
- Perform direct patient care, including evaluations and treatment plans, while documenting interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Communicate with Veteran's providers to ensure coordination of care and track the completion of ordered tests
Required qualifications
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state or territory
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties
