Smart Contract Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative AI-native applications, the remote Smart Contract Engineer will build and maintain open-source smart contract libraries and frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams on core protocol architecture and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Building and maintaining core smart contract frameworks and libraries
• Managing smart contract release lifecycles from architecture to audit and post-release
• Spearheading research into novel smart contract functionalities beyond the EVM

Required qualifications

• General mastery of software engineering principles
• Strong proficiency in Solidity and at least one other programming language
• Deep understanding of the EVM and differences across L1/L2/L3 environments
• Familiarity with network node architectures (e.g., geth, reth, op-stack, orbit)
• Experience in smart contract code audits as a maintainer or auditor
