Smart Grid Application Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Smart Grid Application Engineer to manage Smart Grid Advanced Metering Infrastructure applications for utility clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor application performance, respond to service desk tickets, and provide technical support to clients
• Analyze and resolve production system faults and manage the implementation of AMI device firmware and server software
• Manage small projects, perform meter installation transaction monitoring, and ensure compliance with operational procedures

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 5+ years of experience working with technical teams and managing small projects
• 3+ years of application support experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Experience in the utilities industry, Meter Data Management Systems, and AMI systems is helpful
• Solid understanding of IT technology, including networking and databases
