Sneakers Category Manager

Job Summary

As the single-threaded owner of sneaker category growth within a new commerce initiative, the full-time remote Sneakers Category Manager will manage supply growth, engagement, and GMV while serving as the internal authority and external face of StockX to sneaker sellers and community leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the growth strategy for the sneaker category, owning performance metrics across supply, engagement, and revenue
• Maintain deep knowledge of sneaker culture and serve as the internal voice of the sneaker community to inform product and marketing decisions
• Build and manage a pipeline of high-impact sneaker sellers and creators, developing strategies that balance credibility and commerce

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in category management, partnerships, marketplace growth, or related roles in sneakers or streetwear
• Strong relationship-building skills with credibility among sellers, creators, and community members
• Data-literate with a solid understanding of pricing, margins, liquidity, and incentives
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to execute and adapt strategies
• Deeply embedded in sneaker culture, with knowledge of key players, trends, and market dynamics
