SNOC Engineer II

Job Summary

As a critical member of the team, the remote full-time SNOC Engineer II will detect and respond to security threats, troubleshoot complex network and system issues, and perform root cause analysis to enhance operational stability and compliance across security, network, systems, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Detect and respond to security threats across network, systems, and cloud environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent future incidents
• Mentor SNOC Engineer I team members and assist with technical development

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years in SOC, NOC, IT support, or infrastructure operations
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundations
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills across security, network, systems, and cloud domains
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, monitoring tools, and alert management systems
