SNOC Engineer II

Job Summary

Seeking a remote SNOC Engineer II, the full-time position will manage incident detection and resolution, troubleshoot complex security and network issues, and mentor junior team members while operating within a collaborative environment in Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of incidents from detection through resolution, coordinating with internal teams and clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex security, network, systems, and cloud-related issues
• Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of incidents and recommend corrective actions

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of experience in SOC, NOC, IT support, infrastructure operations, or related technical support environments
• Solid understanding of common cyber threats and attack techniques
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux environments
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, monitoring tools, or security operations technologies
