Snowflake Data Governance Steward

Job Summary

As a Snowflake Data Governance Steward, the full-time position will manage data governance and internal tooling architecture in a remote environment, leveraging expertise in Snowflake to design applications, develop SQL code, and provide consultation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop software and Data Engineering applications within the Snowflake environment
• Implement Snowflake standards and advanced data controls while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
• Conduct presentations on Data Governance and Snowflake best practices to various levels of the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or similar field
• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Analysis, or Data Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and SQL development
• Experience with BI visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau is a plus
• Familiarity with RBAC/ABAC design and implementation is advantageous
