Job Summary
A company is looking for a Snowflake Platform Engineer (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Snowflake subject matter expert, providing expertise in platform architecture, administration, and optimization
- Monitor and resolve production ETL/ELT pipeline incidents, focusing on Snowflake-related issues
- Manage Snowflake access controls and data governance policies to ensure compliance with security requirements
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data platform operations and ETL support, with 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience
- Deep expertise in Snowflake platform administration, including performance tuning and cost optimization
- Strong operational experience supporting production ETL/ELT pipelines and incident response
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and automation scripting
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools and cloud platforms integration with Snowflake
