SOC 2 Operations Lead

Job Summary

Leading the operational foundation of a high-growth fintech company, the full-time remote SOC 2 Operations Lead will manage Payment Operations and Tap Operations teams, drive strategic initiatives, and oversee the SOC 2 compliance program while championing AI adoption across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement planning cadences, operating rhythms, and business reviews across the company
• Oversee the Payment Operations team, ensuring operational health and compliance with payment processing standards
• Take full ownership of the SOC 2 program, managing auditor relationships and compliance controls

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior operator with direct people-management responsibilities in a high-growth company
• Strong understanding of payment operations, including KYC, risk, chargebacks, and reconciliation
• Experience managing or contributing to a SOC 2 program, ideally Type II
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and the ability to drive AI adoption within teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to scope and prioritize operational challenges effectively
