SOC Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a NIRT SOC Analyst to join their national cybersecurity defense team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats across various platforms and networks
• Utilize SIEM tools for alert triage and incident response
• Analyze large datasets to identify suspicious activities and security events

Required Qualifications

• Experience with SIEM and SOC alert triage
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS)
• Knowledge of threat detection and incident response techniques
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
• Must be a US citizen and able to pass an enhanced background check for Public Trust clearance
