SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time SOC Analyst will manage enterprise security monitoring, alert investigation, and incident response activities to identify potential threats and suspicious activity within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise security telemetry and alerts to identify potential threats or suspicious activity
• Conduct investigations of security alerts to determine legitimacy and potential impact on enterprise systems
• Support investigation and response activities during confirmed or suspected cybersecurity incidents

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of cybersecurity experience in security operations or incident response environments
• Experience with enterprise security tools such as SIEM platforms and endpoint detection and response (EDR)
• Ability to analyze security alerts, logs, and telemetry for potential malicious activity
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST Cybersecurity Framework or CIS Critical Security Controls
• Willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance
