SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a qualified SOC Analyst for a remote contract position, responsible for monitoring and responding to security events, performing incident triage, and developing response procedures based on industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to security alerts from the SEIM platform and internal ticketing system
• Perform cyber incident triage to assess scope, urgency, and potential impact
• Develop and document new response procedures and proactively search for threats

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a SOC Analyst
• Understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP and DNS
• Experience with threat hunting and intelligence collection
