Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time SOC Analyst will manage enterprise security monitoring, investigate alerts, and support incident response activities to identify and mitigate potential threats within the organization's systems.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise security telemetry and alerts to identify potential threats or suspicious activities
- Conduct investigations of security alerts to determine legitimacy and potential impact on enterprise systems
- Support investigation and response activities during confirmed or suspected cybersecurity incidents
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in security operations or incident response
- Experience with enterprise security tools, including SIEM platforms and endpoint detection and response (EDR)
- Ability to analyze security alerts, logs, and telemetry to identify malicious activity
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or CIS Critical Security Controls
- Willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance
