SOC Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time SOC Analyst will analyze and respond to advanced threats, monitor alerts, and collaborate with security teams to protect targeted groups from various cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitoring and triaging alerts generated via network security monitoring and EDR platforms
• Conducting threat hunting across the customer base to identify new or undetected threats
• Creating detailed incident reports with actionable recommendations and next steps

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in an IT Security focused role
• Excellent understanding of network protocols and operating systems related to threat detection
• Detailed knowledge of the current threat landscape and TTPs of various threat actors
• Experience in reviewing team members' work to ensure high standards
• Ability to write detection logic for various systems, such as EDR solutions
