SOC Analyst II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SOC Analyst II.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze SIEM alerts to determine appropriate response actions
• Conduct advanced SOC operations, including monitoring, investigation, and reporting of suspicious activities
• Assist with SIEM deployments and develop detection rules to enhance security measures

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an L2 SOC, incident response, detection engineering, or SIEM administration role
• 3-5 years of combined experience in cybersecurity and/or IT disciplines
• Strong understanding of SIEM concepts and log ingestion
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM and EDR
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
