Job Summary
To support a premier cybersecurity program for a major federal agency, the full-time SOC Analyst IV will provide Tier III incident response, forensic analysis, and SIEM operations while working remotely within close proximity to the National Capital Region.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Tier III support for SIEM alert triage and forensic analysis of high-priority security events
- Lead investigations and mentor junior analysts, contributing to the development and improvement of SOPs and incident response playbooks
- Conduct in-depth forensic analysis and apply the MITRE ATT&CK framework to enhance detection capabilities and operational resilience
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- 6+ years of SOC experience with expertise in Tier III incident response and forensic analysis
- Active Public Trust 6c clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and endpoint telemetry analysis in a federal or enterprise environment
- At least one of the following certifications: GCIA, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
