SOC Manager

Job Summary

Leading the security operations function, the full-time SOC Manager will architect and execute SOC strategies, monitor and respond to threats in cloud-native environments, and mentor security teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Architect the SOC strategy and roadmap, defining threat intelligence operations and detection frameworks
• Own incident command, leading containment and recovery operations while driving engineering change through post-mortems
• Establish proactive threat hunting programs and synchronize security controls with engineering and product teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in cyber operations, incident response, and threat intelligence, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Deep technical expertise in building modern SOC functions, including SIEM architecture and EDR stack deployment
• Fluency in cloud-native environments such as AWS and Kubernetes security
• Proven ability to engineer detection logic and automated playbooks for scaling defensive operations
• Hands-on experience with scripting and automation engineering, including Python and Terraform
