SOC Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a passionate SOC Manager, the remote contract position will oversee cyber defense operations, incident response, and security tool management to support a live security operations center (SOC).

Key responsibilities

• Oversee SOC operations, incident management frameworks, and ensure service delivery excellence
• Serve as the strategic engagement point with Department of State leadership for cyber response capabilities
• Ensure resources meet mission demands for monitoring, response, threat hunting, and intelligence operations

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with SOC or Cyber Operations
• CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent certification is required
• Experience with SIEM administration, log analysis, and threat detection
• A minimum Secret security clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, preferably in a technical field
