SOC Team Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of analysts, the full-time SOC Team Lead will manage day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center during the 3rd shift, focusing on incident response, detection engineering, and team development while ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of SOC analysts, managing performance, scheduling, and escalation readiness
• Oversee daily SOC operations, ensuring effective queue management, documentation quality, and process improvements
• Set priorities for detection engineering and threat-informed defense, enhancing the SOC's capabilities through collaboration with engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SOC operations, detection engineering, or incident response, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Hands-on experience with incident response and security operations
• Strong background in improving operational workflows and guiding analysts
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent experience
• Availability to support 3rd shift hours, Monday - Friday, from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM CT
