Job Summary

To support the development of innovative sports betting products, the fully remote Soccer Data Scientist will ideate, develop, and improve machine learning models while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance model performance and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine machine learning and statistical models for sports betting applications
• Create contextualized feature sets using domain knowledge specific to soccer
• Analyze model performance and collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new models effectively

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience developing production-scale models for soccer or sports betting
• Expertise in Probability Theory, Machine Learning, and Bayesian Statistics
• 5+ years of experience delivering effective machine learning models in sports or sports betting
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience in AWS environments
