Social Behavior Change Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Social Behaviour Change Communication Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive and context-specific Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) Strategy for Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA)
• Conduct assessments to analyze knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding CSA among rural communities
• Create community engagement tools and communication products to promote CSA practices and support the Climate Wise Women initiative

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in Gender Studies, Behavioural Science, Communications, Rural Development, or a related field; a bachelor's degree requires two additional years of experience
• At least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing SBCC strategies for agriculture and climate programs
• Working knowledge of English (level C)
• Proven expertise with participatory behaviour change tools such as KAP and SNAP
• Experience in Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) and knowledge of the socio-economic context of Iraq is advantageous
