Social Content Editor

Job Summary

To support a major financial brand's entry into the Reddit space, the temporary Social Content Editor will work remotely during EST or CST hours, focusing on writing social-friendly articles for LinkedIn and Reddit, and managing community engagement through a new Subreddit.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a content calendar for a new branded Subreddit, transforming long-form blog content into engaging posts and original threads
• Partner with internal executives to ghostwrite LinkedIn Pulse articles, crafting compelling narratives from proprietary research and data
• Act as a brand journalist by sourcing insights from internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and managing the content approval process

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of Reddit and its community dynamics, including reddiquette and building trust
• Experience interviewing senior leaders and managing feedback/approval processes professionally
• Ability to adapt writing style from data-heavy content to conversational posts seamlessly
• Previous experience in the financial sector is a significant advantage
• Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude under deadlines and during project development phases
