Social Content Publisher

Job Summary

To support the NBA's social media initiatives, the full-time Project Employee, Social Content Publisher will create, distribute, and publish engaging content for Snapchat and other vertical video platforms, while working remotely for a temporary duration of up to 10 months.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide real-time game coverage by producing and publishing content for the NBA's Snapchat Shows
• Collaborate with video editors to create engaging videos and storytelling captions from game highlights
• Analyze platform metrics to optimize show performance and assist with managing Snapchat platform features

Required qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of creating content for vertical video platforms, preferably in a sports or media context
• Passion for the NBA, with a solid understanding of its players, teams, and statistics
• Experience in creating basketball-related content
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications or a related field preferred
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
