Job Summary
As a temporary full-time Project Employee, the Social Content Specialist will manage the NBA's Reddit account by providing real-time game coverage, creating and publishing optimized content, and collaborating with the content creation team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide real-time game coverage by publishing to the NBA's Reddit account
- Collaborate with the content creation team to identify, create, and publish shortform content optimized for Reddit
- Assist in managing the NBA Reddit account and developing content plans, including features like Reddit AMAs
Required qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the Reddit platform and its community dynamics
- Expert-level knowledge of the NBA, including rules, player storylines, and statistics
- Experience publishing content to Reddit or similar editorial-based social platforms for a sports brand or media organization
- Ability to work on deadline and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
