Job Summary

A company is looking for a Social Media Editor (contract) to create engaging content for its tech vertical, Tech Brew.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage Tech Brew's social presence across relevant platforms, focusing on trending news and innovative content
• Conduct research, pitch story ideas, and create social editorial copy and graphics
• Engage with the audience through community management and track success metrics

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in social media or digital journalism
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and editorial strategy
• Experience managing social media accounts for media outlets
• Strong editorial judgment with the ability to adapt strategies for social-first content
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Figma is a plus
