Job Summary

Working weeknights, the part-time Social Media Freelancer will manage Complex Sports and Complex Bets' social media presence across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, focusing on content creation, community management, and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the voice of Complex Sports/Complex Bets on social platforms, showcasing excellent judgment and audience-sensitive framing
• Create and curate all content for social media, while leading community management and moderation efforts
• Develop original real-time content and track social media best practices to support growth, traffic, and engagement goals

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of social media and editorial experience with a publisher or brand
• Strong understanding of Complex Sports/Complex Bets content, voice, and tone
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro
• Robust knowledge of sports culture and social media platforms
• Willingness to work nights and occasional holidays for live event coverage
