Job Summary

A nonprofit news organization is looking for a Social Media Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, create content for, and analyze performance of social media channels
  • Work on paid ads strategy and optimization with the Editorial & Outreach Manager
  • Coordinate webpage and social media maintenance, ensuring regular posting of new information
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of communications experience developing and implementing strategies
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns
  • Experience in communications management and best practices across social media and traditional media outlets
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (or four years of professional experience in the field)
  • Passion for social media and commitment to fact-checking social content
