Social Media Monitoring Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Intelligence division's real-time monitoring services, the part-time Global Monitoring + Insights Temp will monitor social media and traditional media coverage while producing alerts, briefings, and reports on stakeholder sentiment and emerging risks, working remotely during weekend shifts from 5 am to 5 pm ET.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor social media platforms for relevant posts and deliver real-time news media briefings to clients
• Collaborate with analysts to identify and alert clients about viral social posts that may pose reputational risks
• Prepare data and write analytical reports to support social media analysis and scheduled report deliveries

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, economics, history, or a related social science preferred
• Experience writing analytical reports using Microsoft Office
• Strong interest in social media and the 24/7 news cycle
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Intellectual curiosity with a desire to understand deeper meanings behind content
