Job Summary
Leading the development and management of organic social media strategies, the full-time Social Media Specialist will create and publish mission-aligned content across various platforms, enhancing audience engagement and supporting educational outreach in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute organic social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Manage editorial calendars and collaborate with creative teams to produce multimedia content for storytelling initiatives
- Provide real-time social media coverage during events and monitor channels for audience engagement and emerging issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 7-9 years of experience managing organic social media communications for organizations or mission-driven programs
- Demonstrated experience developing and publishing content across multiple social media platforms
- Strong writing, editing, and audience engagement skills across digital formats
- Experience using social media management and analytics platforms
