Social Media Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the customer's External Affairs office, the full-time Remote Social Media Specialist will develop and manage content for social media channels, create multimedia content, and provide analytical support for engagement metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a content bank for social media, including posts, infographics, and multimedia elements
• Collaborate with customer divisions to identify and produce relevant content
• Monitor social media engagement metrics and produce weekly analysis reports with strategic recommendations

Required qualifications

• BS/BA in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and creating content for social media platforms
• Experience in developing social media strategies and creating multimedia content
• Preferred experience in federal government or public sector social media
• Ability to obtain a DHS Fitness Determination
