Social Media Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting and executing social media strategies, the full-time Social Media Specialist will build campaigns, manage content calendars, and engage with online communities in a remote role based in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Builds and executes social media strategies and campaigns, including drafting platform-specific written content and collaborating with design on visuals
• Sets quarterly and monthly content calendars and creates platform-specific content for various social media platforms
• Leads community management and manages employee ambassador programs, while reporting on content performance and engagement strategies

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of related SaaS and/or education technology work experience in a corporate environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Ability to perform basic graphic design and video editing using software such as Canva
• Strong understanding of social media platform trends and engagement strategies
• Ability to present strategies and report results effectively to company leaders and partners
