Social Media Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting and executing social media strategies, the full-time Social Media Specialist will build campaigns, manage content calendars, and engage with the community while working remotely from the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Builds and executes social media strategies and campaigns, including drafting platform-specific content and collaborating on visuals
• Sets quarterly and monthly content calendars while creating platform-specific content for various social media channels
• Leads community management, responds to trends, and manages employee ambassador programs

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SaaS and/or education technology in a corporate environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Basic graphic design and video editing skills using software such as Canva
• Ability to identify social media platform trends and present strategies effectively
• Organized self-starter with high attention to detail
