Social Media Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the social media strategy, the part-time Social Media Specialist will monitor and respond to social media interactions, create targeted content, and evaluate performance metrics while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage social media interactions, including crisis response and brand building through targeted content
• Evaluate, optimize, and report on social media efforts and performance metrics
• Create and implement creative content across various social media platforms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in social media roles
• Beginner experience with creative editing tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
• Beginner knowledge of content management systems and social media management tools
