Job Summary
Supporting Turnitin's social media strategy, the full-time Social Media Specialist will build and execute social media campaigns, manage content calendars, and engage with the community, all while working remotely in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Builds and executes social media strategies and campaigns, including drafting platform-specific written content and collaborating with design on visuals
- Sets quarterly and monthly content calendars and creates platform-specific content for various social media channels
- Leads community management and manages employee and educator ambassador programs, reporting on content performance and engagement strategies
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of related SaaS and/or education technology work experience in a corporate environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills using software such as Canva
- Ability to identify social media platform trends and present strategies to company leaders
- Organized self-starter with high attention to detail
