Job Summary

Supporting Turnitin's social media strategy, the full-time Social Media Specialist will build and execute campaigns, manage content calendars, and engage with the community while working remotely in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Key responsibilities
  • Builds and executes social media strategies and campaigns, including drafting platform-specific written content and collaborating on visuals
  • Sets quarterly and monthly content calendars and creates platform-specific content for various social media channels
  • Leads community management and manages employee and educator ambassador programs, reporting on content performance and engagement
Required qualifications
  • 2+ years of related SaaS and/or education technology work experience in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ability to perform basic graphic design and video editing using software such as Canva
  • Consumer of digital content with the ability to identify social media platform trends
  • Proficient in presenting strategies and reporting results to company leaders and partners
