Social Media Specialist

Job Summary

A company in the Energy industry is looking for a Social Media Specialist.

Position Responsibilities

• Execute media and external communications campaigns to promote products and services, commercial efforts, culture, and philanthropic efforts to advance external narrative
• Craft unique, effective, and innovative social media content including video and infographics to differentiate us as a leader in the energy transition
• Partner with regional communications, brand marketing, external/internal communications, talent acquisition and business marketing teammates to effectively drive holistic messaging, positioning, and programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience
• Demonstrated experience in communications with specific experience in content creation
• Working knowledge of energy and climate change space including media, thought leaders, digital strategies
• A track record demonstrating the ability to formulate strategic communications plans
• External communications, public relations and/or social media experience preferred
