To create engaging, high-retention short-form videos, the full-time Social Media Reels Video Editor will edit content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos with strong hooks, smooth pacing, and engaging visual effects
• Incorporate current social media trends and optimize videos for platform best practices
• Collaborate with the content team to enhance video performance and deliver high-quality edits on time

Required qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience editing short-form social media content
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality Reels or viral-style short videos is mandatory
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro
• Excellent understanding of viewer retention and attention-grabbing editing techniques
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
