Job Summary

A company is looking for a Social Studies Editorial Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, onboard, and develop editorial talent to ensure high-quality content initiatives
• Lead and mentor the social studies editorial team, setting performance expectations and fostering continuous improvement
• Oversee the review and approval of editorial content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of people management experience in editorial or content development
• At least 5 years of experience in educational publishing with knowledge of K-12 market needs
• A minimum of 5 years of editorial experience focused on social studies curriculum
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Exceptional project management capabilities with a proven track record of delivering results
