Social Work Instructor

Job Summary

To support student learning in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, and Substance Abuse, the part-time Social Work Instructor will manage course exams, provide coaching and tutoring, and ensure effective communication with students in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage Social Work course exams, including grading and content coaching
• Coach and motivate students through various communication methods, including tutoring appointments and messages
• Collaborate with the Curriculum Department to conduct Academic Reviews for content relevance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a closely related field
• At least 5 years of full-time work experience in the relevant area within the past 10 years
• Degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or an accepted foreign equivalent
• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
