Software Application Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting U.S. federal government contracts, the full-time remote Software Application Engineer will collaborate with Product Managers and QA Engineers, design and develop products in a metadata-driven environment, and troubleshoot customer-reported issues while mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and QA Engineers on functional design and analysis of requirements
• Design and develop a product in a metadata-driven development environment
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues and mentor team members through pair programming and code reviews

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with UML, web application development, or SaaS technologies
• 5+ years of experience in design and development using an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, or C++
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing business applications
• 5+ years of experience with software performance design and analysis
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience
