Software Architect

Job Summary

Owning the design and implementation of intelligent document processing and agentic evaluation frameworks, the remote Software Architect will lead architectural direction, design APIs, and write production code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize healthcare document processing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the intelligent document processing platform and agentic evaluation framework
• Design abstractions and interfaces for agentic workflows to handle medical records and claims data
• Write performant production code and mentor engineers on system and API design

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on system architecture at scale
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Scala/Java for designing frameworks and APIs
• Experience architecting multi-step reasoning systems that integrate LLMs into production workflows
• Strong background in designing large-scale systems for processing unstructured data
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
