Software Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of scalable applications, the remote Software Architect will utilize Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and IoT concepts while guiding development teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and document system architecture for web applications, APIs, and IoT integrations
• Provide guidance on best practices and coding standards to development teams
• Design frameworks for connecting IoT devices to enterprise systems, ensuring secure data transmission

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 7-10 years of experience in software architecture and development
• Expert-level proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
• Strong understanding of IoT concepts and device connectivity
• Hands-on experience with API design and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
