Software Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of scalable and secure applications, the full-time Software Architect will utilize Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, while integrating IoT concepts into enterprise solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document system architecture for web applications, APIs, and IoT integrations
• Provide guidance to development teams on best practices and architectural principles
• Design frameworks for connecting IoT devices to enterprise systems, ensuring secure data transmission

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 7-10 years of experience in software architecture and development
• Expert-level proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
• Strong understanding of IoT concepts and device connectivity
• Hands-on experience with API design and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
