Job Summary

Defining and driving the technical architecture strategy for the OnitX AppBuilder Platform, the full-time remote Software Architect will enhance the engine for application development in the Legal Tech market while providing leadership and mentoring across development and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the overall system architecture for scalability, performance, and resiliency
• Establish architecture standards, design principles, and best practices across engineering teams
• Lead design reviews and technical governance for major initiatives

Required qualifications

• 12-15+ years of experience in software engineering and system architecture
• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and microservices architecture
• Deep understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
