Software Architect

Job Summary

To guide enterprise architecture strategy and ensure system design aligns with business priorities, the remote Software Architect will define technical standards, lead cross-team architecture reviews, and provide high-impact mentoring while focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to translate objectives into actionable technical roadmaps and scalable architecture
• Define and evolve enterprise architecture strategy and establish design standards to maximize system performance and reduce technical debt
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for system failures and architectural risks affecting core enterprise systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related STEM field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, architecture, or technical leadership
• At least 5 years of experience designing and delivering complex enterprise systems across various technologies
• Experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, and architecture/design tools
