Software Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a mid-level Software Assurance Engineer to join their team and contribute to the sustainment and enhancement of a ground system for a national Earth observation program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of software development, including requirements analysis, design, code, test, and documentation
• Contribute to the software quality assurance team and support the development of standards and conventions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical exchange meetings, and product demonstrations with customers

Required Qualifications:

• Seven years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust and CAC
• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, Insight, Confluence, Risk Register, Crucible, etc
• Experience working within a distributed virtual team environment and proficiency in remote collaboration tools and practices
